in #money7 years ago

If you're under 30 , working holiday visas are a great solution to explore a distant country and work in the meanwhile. You can also earn good money and live in one of the wealthiest and safest countries in the world. If you want to know more or you have never heard of this, check this post! AUSTRALIA

WHO CAN DO IT

The Subclass 417 can be done by citizens of United Kingdom, South Korea, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, Taiwan, Ireland, Malta, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hong Kong, Finland, Cyprus, France, Italy, Belgium, Iceland, Greece, Estonia and Latvia. For this class you just have to be between 18 and 30, be healthy and of good character (not a criminal). You cannot bring any dependent children. You also need (but this isn't always checked) sufficient funds, which amount to 5000 AUD.

The Subclass 462 can be done by citizens of Argentina, Bangladesh, China, Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Uruguay and Hungary. Except for United States citizens, all other need an university degree, including the requirements written above.

HOW LONG CAN YOU STAY

Once your visa is approved, you have 12 months to reach Australia. You can stay one year once you reach Australia. If you want to stay another year, it can be done but you need to work 3 months (or 88 days) in rural areas designated by the Government.

HOW LONG CAN YOU STAY

As for Australia, you have 1 year to reach New Zealand and one year once you get there. There is an extension for 3 months, but cost-wise it isn't the best choice (a visa costs 400 NZD, a 3 month extension 200 NZD)
