1 - Ability to generate excitement beforehand

2 - Create a Prototype

Some people go broke with their first idea because they never prototype it, they always try to launch the full thing. They're like the dude who meets the pretty girl on their first date and proposes to her right away. Don't do that. Test the relationship before you jump into commitment and do the same with business. Make a small version of the big version. Before the architectures built a skyscraper they build a model of it to make sure that's nothing wrong with it.

3 - Pre-Sell

Everything can be pre-sold. Go to Kickstarter or Indiegogo and start pre-selling the idea.
