Four reasons to invest in Monero

in #monero7 years ago (edited)

The best anonymous altcoin

Not every cryptocurrency is anonymous. Monero is the leading secure and private altcoin that is way ahead its competitors like Verge. In the European countries or the USA being anonymous becomes the keen topic. Not for trading with drugs, weapons or pornography, just to avoid being stalked by governments or corporates such are banks or debit card issuers.

It is worth to be mined

Unlike Bitcoin and other top coins, GPU mining of Monero is still effective. You don’t need to turn a brownfield in central China into a secret mine.
I personally appreciate that Monero saves electricity. For that purpose, you can mark it as a green altcoin. And that sounds good for a lot of people.

It is being used already

Yes, there are ICOs and brand new projects of coins that offer pretty much the same advantages as Monero. But Monero already proved that it works. That it is trustworthy. And that people mine it, pay with it and accept it as a currency. That’s really important for any coin.

On its way to become user-friendly

Moneros roots are in the Darknet. The Darknet folks usually don’t crave for simple and user-friendly solutions. The internet masses do. Hence the infrastructure for those masses matters. Once Monero apps and wallets spread among people, we can expect a boom.

Nice post! I just wrote a very similar article on Monero, although not so investment-oriented, just about 15 minutes earlier :D

Anyways, I also do believe Monero is worth investing in, so I bought some more recently. I'm also mining it, but with the increasing difficulty it's harder and harder over time... it's probably better to just buy it at this point.

Interesting thread. I was about to post a similair post. Investing in cryptos is still a risky thing. We really need more insights in the market and previous investment results (even though they don't deliver any guarantee for the future). I found this amazing platform: https://www.coincheckup.com Since I use this site I make so much less basic investment mistakes. Check: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Monero#analysis To see the: Monero Research report.

Good post, I am mining for it, but too much other good options to "buy" or trade for any in my opinion.

Yep, there are others, but Monero is on the top of my list nowadays.
