Chladnische Klangfiguren sind Muster, die auf einer mit Sandbestreuten dünnen Platte (am besten aus Metall) entstehen, wenn diese in Schwingungen versetzt wird. Dieses geschieht, indem die Platte an einer Kante mit einem Geigenbogen bestrichen oder einer schwingenden Stimmgabel berührt wird.

Infolge von Eigenresonanzen beginnt die Platte mit einer ihrer Moden zu schwingen. Der Sand wird beim Tönen der Platte von den vibrierenden Partien regelrecht weggeschleudert und wandert zu den Stellen, an denen keine oder schwächere Schwingung auftritt. Auf diese Weise werden die Knotenlinien von stehenden Wellensichtbar gemacht, die sich auf der Platte ausbilden.

Chladnische Klangfiguren sind benannt nach Ernst Florens Friedrich Chladni, der 1787 die Schrift „Entdeckungen über die Theorie des Klanges“ veröffentlichte, in der er Klangfiguren darstellt und beschreibt, wie man sie erzeugen kann.
Die Menschen waren von den Mustern so sehr fasziniert, dass Chladni seinen Lebensunterhalt mit dem Auftreten als Lehrer und Referent über seine Figuren verdienen konnte und selbst Napoleon sagte:

(lateinisch Ioannes Keplerus, auch Keppler; * 27. Dezember1571 in Weil der Stadt; † 15. November1630 in Regensburg) war ein deutscher Naturphilosoph, Mathematiker, Astronom, Astrologe, Optiker und evangelischer Theologe.
Von 1594 bis 1600 war Kepler Landschaftsmathematiker in Graz, d. h. Mathematiker des Landes Steiermark.
Er unterrichtete Mathematik an der protestantischen Stiftsschule, die der katholischen Universität von Grazgegenüberstand. In Prag war er zunächst Assistent von Tycho Brahe(1600–1601), dann kaiserlicher Mathematiker unter Rudolf II.
Diese Stellung behielt er unter Rudolfs Nachfolgern Matthias I. und Ferdinand II. bis 1627. Von 1612 bis 1626 wirkte er zusätzlich als Landschaftsmathematiker in Linz.

Zuletzt diente er General Wallenstein als astrologischer Berater.

Sie werden nach ihm Keplersche Gesetze genannt. Er machte die Optik zum Gegenstand wissenschaftlicher Untersuchung und bestätigte die Entdeckungen, die sein Zeitgenosse Galileo Galilei mit dem Teleskop gemacht hatte.
Kepler zählt damit zu den Begründern der modernen Naturwissenschaften.
Mit seiner Einführung in das Rechnen mit Logarithmen trug Kepler zur Verbreitung dieser Rechenart bei.
In der Mathematik wurde ein numerisches Verfahren zur Berechnung von Integralen nach ihm Keplersche Fassregel benannt.

Harmonice mundi

Nach intensivem Studium der Daten zur Umlaufbahn des Mars entdeckte Kepler am 15. Mai 1618 das dritte der nach ihm benannten Gesetze, welches er in dem im Jahr 1619 veröffentlichten Werk Harmonices mundi libri V („Fünf Bücher zur Harmonik der Welt“) erläuterte.

Kepler sprach in diesem Werk von einem harmonischen Gesetz.

Er glaubte, dass es eine musikalische Harmonie enthülle, die der Schöpfer im Sonnensystem verewige.

„Ich fühle mich von einer unaussprechlichen Verzückung ergriffen ob des göttlichen Schauspiels der himmlischen Harmonie.
Denn wir sehen hier, wie Gott gleich einem menschlichen Baumeister, der Ordnung und Regel gemäß, an die Grundlegung der Welt herangetreten ist.“
Keplers Anschauungen entsprachen dem, was heute als anthropisches Prinzip bezeichnet wird.
In einem weiteren Manuskript beschrieb er eine Zusammenstellung von Übereinstimmungen zwischen der Bibel und wissenschaftlichen Sachverhalten.

Chladnische sound figures are patterns that occur on a thin plate with sand on it, if this goes into vibration. This is done by brushed an edge with a violin bow or touching a vibrating tuning fork on the plate.
As a result of resonances the plate begins with one of its modes to swing. The sand is thrown literally at the tones of the plate from the vibrating parts and moves to places where no or lower vibration occurs. In this way, the node lines are made by standing wave view bar, making out on the plate.
Chladnische sound characters are named after Ernst Florens Friedrich Chladni, who published the pamphlet "Discoveries concerning the theory of sound" in 1787, where he represents sound characters and describes how you can create them. People were so very fascinated by the patterns that Chladni could earn his living with the appearance as a teacher and speaker about his characters and even Napoleon said:

He also became landscape mathematician in Linz from 1612 to 1626.
Most recently he served as an astrological consultant General Wallenstein. Johannes Kepler discovered the laws according to which planets around the Sun move. They are called Kepler laws after him. He made the optics to the subject of scientific investigation and confirmed the discoveries, made his contemporary Galileo Galilei with the telescope. Kepler one of the founders of modern science. With his introduction to computing with logarithms, Kepler contributed to the dissemination of this operation. In mathematics, a numerical method for calculating integrals after him was named Kepler barrel rule.

Harmonice mundi

After an intensive study of the data to the orbit of Mars, Kepler discovered the third law named after him, which he explained in the work published in the year 1619 Harmonices mundi libri V ("five books to the harmony of the world") on 15 May 1618.
Kepler said in this work by a harmonic law.
He believed that it reveal a musical harmony that immortalize the creator in the solar system.
"I feel of an ineffable Ecstasy taken whether the divine drama of heavenly harmony. "Because we see here how God immediately approached a human master, the order and rule according to, on the Foundation of the world."
Kepler's views were consistent with what today is known as the anthropic principle. In a further manuscript, he described a collection of correspondences between the Bible and scientific facts.
