Orthodox Monastery Pavlovac

I love this place, hidden from noise, crowds, rush, stress, people ... Located in a beautiful nature, near the Pavlovački brook, surrounded by woods, the Orthodox Monastery Pavlovac is an ideal place for a short recovery from everyday life.

The monastery dates back to the 15th century. It was built on the order of Despot Stefan Lazarevic. The Pavlovac Monastery shared the fate of many monasteries in Serbia, it was demolished and burned during Ottoman rule. It was rebuilt in the 20th century. The picture shows the remains of the former monastery.

Volim ovo mesto, sakriveno od buke, gužve, žurbe, stresa, ljudi... Smešten u prelepoj prirodi, u blizini Pavlovačkog potoka, okružen šumom, Manastir Pavlovac je idealno mesto za kratak oporavak od svakodnevnice.

Manastir potiče iz 15. veka i izgradjen je po naredbi despota Stefana Lazarevića. Pavlovac je delio sudbinu mnogih srpskih manastira, pa je tokom vladavine Turaka rušen i spaljivan. Obnovljen je u 20. veku. Na slici se vide ostaci nekadašnjeg manastira.
