An utterly embarrassing performance in Week 7 has landed the Warriors in last place with a 1-6 record to start off the 2018 Salsa league season. The Warriors put up a total of only 154 on the week. They need to turn things around quickly before they get buried in the standings.

Batting

The Warriors bats were atrocious in Week 7. Albert Pujols (UTIL, Los Angeles Angels) ended the week with -1 points and found himself back in the Free Agents. Justin Bour (1B, Miami Marlins) will take over at the Utility position in Week 8. There was nothing too good to say about anyone in Week 7. Eric Hosmer (1B, San Diego Padres) put up the most points on the team with 26.

Pitching

A terrible outing by the injury hobbled Andrew Miller (RP, Cleveland Indians) set the Warriors back with -13 points. Cole Hamels (SP, Texas Rangers) missed his scheduled start and ended up with 0. No one had a stand-out performance. It was a very poor week for the Warriors all around, but they will need to make something happen soon if they ever want to make playoff contention.

BYO Bier's Box Score

Jacob deGrom (SP, New York Mets) had a ridiculous start, throwing 13 strikeouts in 7 innings for 31 total points. Andrew Benintendi (OF, Boston Red Sox) went on a tear in Week 7 putting up 38 total points on 22 total bases. But overall, BYO Bier didn't need to do much to beat the terrible Warriors in Week 7.
