I've been using minnosupport almost since the beginning and it is the best initiative I've seen on Steemit so far.

New users

For new users unaware of minnow support it is a witness project envisioned by @aggroed and run by @aggroed, @ausbitbank, @teamsteem, @theprophet0, and @someguy123 and helps new users grow. On the discord channel minnows can chat, network and get to know a community of like minded growing minnows and once signed up to the project will allow you to use the minnow support upvoter which allows minnows to add some value to their work every 12 hours. I won't go into the full details to sign up as that's not what I'm postibg about but check out a guide on how to join this amazing community here.

How to get a little more value

I've noticed on minnow support that users are posting then immeadiatly upvoting their posting via the minnow support upvoter, this is a bad idea. If you don't know how the reward pool works click here basically over time based on the voting system your payout will decrease so if you upvote with minnow support the day you post all that support you are given will diminish to nothing over 7 days so don't use the upvoter on new posts, leave them until they are 6 days old and upvote them a day before payout to prevent them from diminishing as much, that way you will gain the maximum payout when you use minnow support.

This wasn't a long complicated post but I think an important one and a little advice that will go a long way if you use the minnow support project.
