MinnowSupportProject: Why You should join PALnet and MinnowSupport Project ?
I have never been so involved in a community. I've been there for less than 7 days. The day when I joined discord channel, I've got a warm welcome from all the steemers out there.
In these 7 days I've learned something from @minnowsupport and discord channel that the challenges on Steemit are best met through a community who seeks to help one another succeed on the platform by various ways like education, community curation, personal connection and friendship.
By this people can find the help they need to write better articles, to reach a wider audience, influence on steemit and connect with many other steemers on steemit.
Now the question arises-
Why you should join MSP And PALnet ?
By joining Minnowsupport project and PALnet you are helping other steemers and you are growing by helping each other. By supporting each other you are indirectly becoming more versatile and becoming more famous.
#minnowsupportproject exists to boost up the growth of minnows through upvoting And if your content is up to mark your post will get resteem.
The growth of MSP :
If we look at the growth of minnow support project and discord channel "PALnet" , it is accelerating tremendously. Discord channel hits more than 2000 person in just 3 weeks and minnowsupport project account on steemit has more than 1600 followers and the count is still increasing.
It is all because of steemers those who are participating and conducting the project. Its completely public and open source to all members of steemit community who voluntarily choose to be there.
MSP is run by a team which helps new steemers to give them upvotes. @aggroed , @austinbank , @teamsteem , @canadian-coconut have complete control over the discord room.

The project is now leading and boosting with 8 witnesses. All those witnesses are playing a very important role in minnowsupport project.

MinnowSupport Project is run by a team of people better name them steemers which help new steemers to give them upvote.
There are differnet chatrooms in PALnet in which people talk to each other, can put their questions and everyone are free to ask about the @minnowsupport project and steemit community.
All chatrooms which are there in PALnet are of different purpose. With great power comes great responsibility and this is what the crew is doing.

Loving your contribution and interest in community. I'm currently on discord but feeling a little lost. Would you be so kind to explain to me what a minnow is and how that name originated?
Minnows are newbies which are lost in steemit and doesn't get enough attention but in minnowsupport project newbies can get upvotes and get attention in crowd. This is all because of @aggroed amd its crew who made this channel and project to help newbies by upvoting.
I was wondering how the word 'minnow' came to life. Like why 'minnow' and not 'newbie'! Curiosity is taking over. Thanks @heelzkinu
it's because of the financial market, usually the "whales" are the ones with a lot of money that can manipulate the market, "minnows" often have no clue about what they're really doing there and get in these manipulations. Our role as minnows now is to choose the right path so we're not swollen by the whales ;)

Thanks a lot Lucas for your comment, couldn't have said it better myself ! After I learned about whales on steemit (whale votes etc.) I realized how obvious the meaning was haha.
There's also the term "dolphins" being used for mid-level Steemians.

ya. I heard about dolphins. but is there a clear division (like yu become a dolphin when your rate comes higher than 60 or something like that) or it's just a name in general? any ideas on that?
That's an excellent question. I think @mindhunter would have a good answer since he'll nail both the philosophical and technological side! As for me, not very sure. I guess whales generally have 6 figure accounts
So maybe dolphins have 5 and can sing - everybody knows that dolphins are good singers!

STOPHello, i want to be a member of PALnet but when i click invite discord link it say expired, i was a member of PALnet before and it just last for one day and than i get kikcked out from discord with no reason and that make me confuse about what wrong thing i did. Can i do re:register again as new member? Please i need it for my progress.
