don't worry, it gets a bit complicated. Map is an initiative to give minnows a bit more exposure. You can apply here if you like to participate and the post tells more about it.

But basically, 6 people are chosen for each contest based on their posts. Then, the 6 get also invited to join a discord channel (kind of a forum type thing) . All in there have done this contest and are very helpful. a great place to ask questions.
For 7 days, the 6 contestants ask their followers to vote for them and there is also a voting channel in Map for former participants. The winner gets to use 200 steem for one week - getting more voting power and all that jazz.
You could do it! You qualify :)
