The Communist Republic of MinnowSupport - ЦРМСП - SATIRE
Komrades, today I reveal the true agenda of Minnow Support. Our glorious leader Chairman Aggroedski devised his dastardly scheme a little over a month ago to ensnare thousands of minnows in his very own gulag. To date the prisoner quota stands at almost 3500. They were enticed by capitalist style propaganda promising help and support. Little did they know the slogan Peace, Abundance and Liberty was devised in our secret psychological warfare lab, hidden somewhere in the frozen wastes of Siberia.
We do not tolerate any free expression and censor all that we deem unfit in our glorious communist future. The team of moderators - camp guards - oversee the day to day running of the gulag and stamp out any and all dissention. Brain washing activities are conducted daily, indoctrinating all new comers into the glorious republic and our group think mentality. We serve the greater good and if that means forbidding posts that do not agree with our agenda then so be it.
Of course, this is far from the truth and is indeed a fiction put out by a detractor to our true mission: to give minnows a home where they are fully supported in their early Steemit journey. MSP is a place new comers to the platform can learn it's little intricacies and accepted ways of doing things. This does not mean we presume to tell you what you can or can not post on Steemit, we welcome all viewpoints. What we do moderate are comments on our Discord server - curiously named Peace, Abundance, Liberty - and THAT is what we promote. From @aggroed to @someguy123 and many of our members there is a strong anti-establishment feeling that is reflected in their posts right here on Steemit. To even suggest we are for censorship is laughable. We moderate the chat for it to be welcoming to EVERYBODY and all we ask is that it is kept respectful.
We have channels and members dedicated to helping improve HOW you write, not WHAT you write. How best to present your post regardless of it's content. One only has to look at posts by @tremendospercy @r0nd0n @ancientmystique and our own @aggroed @canadian-coconut and @someguy123 to realise that nothing is out of bounds.
