Whale is a sea animal, a mammal, and the largest animal not just in sea but in the animal kingdom. Whales are of different species, the blue whale, bowhead whale and sperm whale. While the blue whale is the largest whale in size, the sperm whale has the largest brain.

The size of whale gives it advantage. It has muscular body with strong tissue. It's movement in the sea can create a lot of waves and currents. It is the king of deep sea.

The knowledge above will help one understand the activities of the heavily investors in the crypto Market business. They have enormous investment capacity. Crypto whales, as I call them, determine the direction of the market. The crypto currency that will excel. They are arm-twister.
I have little experience in the cryptopia exchange and coinexchange. There, I saw the power of crypto whales. People pray for whale to come and sweep a particular currency/coin. They buy it up and create artificial scarcity of the coin in question, thereby fix a price of their choice. Over time people will move in to benefit from the newly improving product. Happy are you if you have some units of the coin. However, the euphoria of price appreciation can last as long as the whales investors hold their millions of units of the said currency. At their choice to flood the market with the currency, the price will experience a nosedive.
The whales can also return the coin to the market gradually, and this allows for a relative stability in price.

Another thing I realised is that they, crypto whales, move in group. This enables them create violent waves, arm-twist minnows by adding few cents on top their orders. They can pick an unknown coin and make it popular. Their unity pays them off.
The powers of whales cannot be over-emphasised at crypto Market even on steemit.
So, next time you want to invest, study the market and know where the crypto whales may likely visit. Pray and hope they come by and your day will be made.
I have made some investment to my little ability on appeared promising currencies, only to see it drop by 300%. The next thing you see is another unknown currency skyrocketing. This has been a common experience.
Don't blame yourself or curse your life or God. Crypto whales are responsible. They are forces to reckon with in the world of cryptocurrency.

Yes, we must be smart in looking at opportunities in the market, but sometimes it depends on the hockey / luck that is on our side at that time (I believe it) Haha 😂. Most importantly we should never give up, try and try to continue until what we want achieved. Ha ha ha.
