Sweet, I just got my first friend IRL to sign up to steemit. Word is finally getting out. Once he gets his validation email I am sending him to this. Hopefully it doesn't take them a week to sign him up!
You can pay 20 steem and get him on asap through anonsteem. It's run by @someguy123 who is an awesome witness and good businessman.
