Halloween Post Winner and How to Reward Old Posts
Last week I decided to toss out a fun little way to let some people share their Halloween posts or even just comment with a photo with the chance to win a share in the Minnow Builder program.
@kerrislravenhill's post was a hands down winner for me as the costume was great and loved the entire alter ego that goes with it.

Decided to give out double the prize for the winner and have purchased 2 shares of @minnowbuilder2 for @kerrislravenhill. These shares will provide a lifetime daily upvote for her posts and at the same time help the redfish the account is currently help build into minnows.
Rewarding Old Posts - Steem Forever
Now this is one of those times I shared a link for a post that deserves more attention...that is rewards...then it received. But as the payout window has closed there isn't anything that can be done about it, or is there? Thanks to @steem-bounty's program called Steem Forever we can now create a new link for a post and it can get rewards forever.
To make sure you can see where you are going I left the link raw. You will be able to see the post on @steem-bounty's server and log
As this is a new service and one that might seem a little confusing I'll take a second to explain. When you log into steem-bounty via steemconnect you are letting steem-bounty upvote a comment it makes on the post. See below:
By commenting on the post steem-bounty has created something that can earn rewards. Then your upvote that you added to the post goes onto the comment. This amount is then shared back to the author at time of payout in 7 days.
It's a very creative way to reward authors on posts which have already paid out.
Anyways if you think the post and costume are worth rewarding you now have a way to do it. Thanks to @knircky's vision for Steem Forever.

It was deserved. I'm involved in the comic con world and see very few people who take ownership of their alter egos, most are just playing dress up when they cosplay. You clearly are someone who has taken ownership and I appreciate passionate people.
Did you look at your rewards that will be coming for that post on the Steem Forever comment? You got one large upvote that will really help. Once it pays out please do a post about it showing that you got paid on an old post. Personally I feel this needs some promotion...it's just to cool that I was able to generate a way to get you paid even more on a post that already paid out.

That is a perfect example why we created the service!
Honestly this might be one of the most useful solutions that has been presented on steemit. Not sure why people aren't jumping on it other then maybe lack of understanding and/or potentially not knowing it's even an option.
