RE: @buildteam @thecryptodrive - are you ready?!
You do know that there's 100 people on steemit now that can do the same and use MB to upvote their content to $200+ ? The MB whitelist I helped review.
Call it a "scammy path", but I don't know of any other way to balance out what is happening on steemit with the majority of power being in the hands of very few who care more about profit than content quality on the platform.
The @minnowbooster account has nearly 3 million SP (125K held and 2.842 million delegated to them). And last time I checked, they haven't had any positive impact on "content quality." In fact, plenty of shitposters and spammers have used their services and still do.
So, Minnowbooster is one of the few accounts that you've mentioned with the "majority of power" and they are in fact one of the "services" that seems to be more interested in profits than "content quality on the platform."
How exactly can Minnowbooster "balance out what is happening on Steemit" when Minnowbooster is one of the problems throwing that balance off in the first place...all for the sake of profit for Ricardo and a few of his new buddies? Please tell me how "minnows" have been "boosted" by this vote-buying and delegation-leasing craze? Nearly every report I've seen about these services shows that there is very little benefit, if any at all, to purchasing them. As a whole, it certainly doesn't appear to be beneficial for the platform, as human interaction has apparently tanked in favor of multiple upvote services and multiple comment spam-bots cluttering the posts of the people who use them.
But please do carry on about "balancing things out" by doing more of the same. I'm sure more new users might buy it...then become disenchanted and leave, never to return.
In fact, plenty of shitposters and spammers have used their services and still do.
There's an anti-abuse policy, so this should not happen.
As for the benefit from the service - how else can minnows get attention to their posts in trending and hot without paying for them to have high enough of a payout? I agree that MB and the likes (there's no shortage) are not a perfect solution, but I have yet to come across a better one.
What alternative do you propose?
And again - thank you for the grownup reply. <3
I do appreciate your explanation (much nicer than just calling me names).
The anit abuse policy is in name only.
Here is a solution

Think the same.... wrote in minnowbooster post today:
If you must use screenshots, please at least include a link to the quote you wish to bring to our attention. Some of us might like to actually read what was said without going through all sorts of contortions. Then there's the issue of links. Try clicking on the links in your grab, see how far you get. I didn't.
Trust me, I'm a doctor.
Right click on images.... view image... it's not that hard..
This is the link of my answer:

Link on image didn't work... because it's a screenshot... It seems obvious to me..
You are right, it's not hard, but it is unnecessary. It would have been easy for you to have included the link to your answer in the first place, assuming you'd like people to read it.
"Link on image didn't work... because it's a screenshot..." Really? I'd never have guessed.
