This is relatively a new feature added by Minnowbooster. In this feature what an user can get on monthly basis, I have explained as per below. Let’s have a look on it.

Minnobooster will pay 75% of the bid received from the bidder which is roughly 50% of the upvote value. The upvote value by Minnowbooster generally varies from 1.6 to 2.0 SBD per 1 SBD bid from time to time. This is because of various factors like fluctuating steem price, VP value, SP etc. But with “sell your vote” feature the parameter of MB itself may not count but the proportional vote value will be same be it MB or sell voter.

So here apart from the direct SBD from Minnowbooster, the user will also earn curation reward, which I have not calculated yet, and the curation reward varies from 0 to 25% depending upon the age of the post at the time of upvoting.

OPTIMAL STRATEGY FOR CURATION REWARD

So if we consider an average 12.5% curation reward, then the above revenue figure will be like:-

12.5% of 10 SBD per day = 1.25 SBD
Per month revenue (curation)= 1.25*30 = 37.5 SBD
So adding the curation part the total revenue per month = 150+37.5 = 187.5 SBD

Delegate to Bot

Let’s analyze the earning by “Delegating to bot”. In this if we take the same parameter of a user, then how would be the earning, let’s have a look on it.

So here a user by delegating the same amount of SP to Bot can earn 150 SBD per month (considering 1 STEEM = 1SBD). This calculation is based on a 18% APR. However this 18% APR is an approximate figure and the actual one vary from day to day basis.

Comparative Analysis

One undeclared fact we must understand as a steemian is that “SP” plays a pivotal role in terms of growth in this community. This is something every user should understand and accept. It’s very natural and obvious in this community that if you have a decent amount of SP, people will follow you and also will participate in your blog. This is an undeclared truth that every steemian might have experienced at some point of time with their engagement in this community.

But in the feature “Delegate to Bot” you are delegating your SP to Bot, that means you are losing your influence factor. However you are earning on the basis of 18% APR, which is not a bad figure.

So from the above comparative analysis, it is clearly evident that the new feature “sell your vote to Minnowbooster” is having the edge over “Delegate to Bot” not only in terms of more revenue but also in terms of keeping the influence factor intact.
