Why was the 1st Dash Bitmain Miner Sold out in 62 minutes
The 18th of July, the chineese company also known as Bitmain announced at 11:38 am the new mining hardware for mining dash. (The Antminer D3). At 12:40 am, they announced that the Miner had sold out. 62 minutes took miners to buy a big batch of this new miners.
With a price of 2,699 USD (which is obvious not a lot of us have that kind of money at hand) One might wonder: Why were this miners sold so fast? How good can they be? How long will it take for a buyer to get back the money he invested? What about electricity bills?
Well the answers are quite simple: This piece of equipment has a specialized software working on the x11 algorithm. Which generates 15GH/s on mining dash. (Is that alot?) Well, yes. It is actually alot of power for 1 computer
On the picture above, you can see the profit of mining with this piece of equipment (I'm not counting of the power consumption, nor the cost of this one) However, as you can see, you generate 1,532 usd ON A WEEK. Which means, you can get back your investment in just 2-3 weeks, and this miner will last for alot more. (The chart is according to today's price and mining difficulty)
That is the reason why these sold out so soon, I couldn't buy one either, but will try to buy one next time they have on stock. For more posts about suggestions on mining equiment follow me, thank you all guys
