Tribute to All Mine Workers Who Lost their Lives in Coal Mining Around the World!
Mining is very old profession in the world which started with the beginning of human civilization.
Mining is extraction of valuable minerals from the earth. These valuable minerals include Iron, Graphite, Gypsum, Coal and Copper. Mining can be surface mining as well as underground mining.
Coal is by far the most mined out material in the world which is extracted from almost all around the world.
Coal mining is considered most primitive and dangerous mining due to the fact that coal is found hundreds of feet deep into the earth and dangerous gases are trapped deep into the coal seams.
Coal mining is done mostly by workers who dig out coal from the coal seams with the help of hand picks. This process is very difficult and requires lot of effort.
Many mine workers lose their life either in mine collapses or due to inhale of dangerous gases.
World history is full of mining accidents. In 1906, Europe most worst accident occurred in France in which 1099 poor miners lost their lives.
China is considered centre of coal mining and lot of such accidents occur due to large scale coal mining and lack of safety measures. China worst mine accident occurred in 1942 which killed 1549 miners at once.
Being a Mining Engineer, I dedicate this post to pay tribute to poor mine workers who lost their lives in mining accidents.
Solute to all Miners whose hard work will be remembered for ever!!!

I hope that the safety standards will improve so that less lives will be lost in the mines. These poor workers are being exploited, working in dangerous conditions for little pay.

What a very nice way of thanking them I really have respect for any mineworker as it is a very difficult job. They reallly work very hard and we should all be very thankful.

Mining is hard work that only the brave or the desperate take on. My respect to miners, and people who try to make it safer for them.

That is one bad way to lose your life. All due to a few peoples greed who ignore the safety of workers and only think about profit. Cutting corners where ever they can. In my opinion, the people who don't make necessary safety measures should be trialed for murder. There are accidents, but in most cases, these accidents happen to the pure neglect of mine owners who don't care about their workers working conditions and safety.
For the miners I wish their souls rest in peace.
