Today's verse and quote (DEPRESSION)
Depression.
In psychotherapy and psychiatry, a state of mind producing serious, long-term lowering of enjoyment of life or inability to visualize a happy future or a period of unhappiness or low morale which lasts longer than several weeks and may include ideation of self-inflicted injury or suicide.
People who suffer from depression are often sad and uninterested in anything. Depressed people sleep a lot and prefer spending time in the dark rather than the light. The word of God encourages us to come out of the darkness and concentrate on other things, this we'll help us remove focus From ourselves, and helpmus find true peace and joy in doing the things we love.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
