The fall of the Empire; A modern disease called Mindenia

in #mind5 years ago

Much has been going on in the financial markets (crypto and fiat) in the past year and much more is expected to come as days and months will unfold, approaching the threshold of the year 2022. The influences of the life-changing events go far beyond the fall of some stock markets or a collapse of a country's economy (Venezuela). As grave as those may be for the people who experience them, the important elements are, as always, those who exist behind the scene, which for the time being remain dormant to the common mind.

I am referring to the transformation of consciousness. While I do not claim to know "what is going on", as there is much that is hidden from us and rightly so, I still can pinpoint four major influences.

  1. Distribution of wealth – this is the most immediate and obvious phenomenon. Stock markets fall, rich people lose their fortunes, ordinary people become afraid and hence refrain from investing and so the consequences lead to more equal funds distribution. I'll leave it for the financial experts to elaborate more on this topic and will carry on to what is really interesting.
  2. Priorities reshuffle – one who has been busy with accumulating money in order to just accumulate more money, time and again, begins to ask oneself – once his whole packs go down the drain – what is money. Is it something real or just numbers on a computer's screen? And if so, then what value does money have if it's not used? One then starts to have different perspectives on life. What is more important; spending quality time with oneself and one's loved ones or working hard to allow the purchase of more goods that very often remain unused? One then reaches the final wisdom that money is not a purpose but just a mean. A wonderful, amazing and very efficient mean indeed; yet still just a mean.
  3. Casting away personal power – with money often comes imbalanced consciousness regarding the appropriate place it has in one's life. An unsecured person that receives great fortune uses it to gain support for his existence, self-reassurance, and personal value; "I have money now, I am a rich man – therefore I am strong, powerful and am able to do whatever pleases me". I call this "false consciousness of wealth" and with that comes the even falser thought that one can influence other people's lives through manipulation and deception. Such indeed has been the case for many people in the past times but no more. Money goes and the power goes with it. The full array of the consequences is still to be revealed and it will in the next years. Casting away their powers was an invited scenario that rescues them from the doom.
  4. And lastly, off the mind game – many people have been extremely busy in the past years with making money, hovering it and inflating it, only to do it again the next day. Their lives have become a continuous mind game to find the next opportunity to increase their fortunes. They were preoccupied with checking their balances and collaborating with like-minded people in order to find more people exactly like them. They all have created a web of integrated minds – symbolized by their joint networks of computers – which was feeding on itself but lacked a true essence.

A disease called mindenia.

This disease – the overuse of the mind – slowly kills the physical body and fast destroys the connection to the self. Such occurrences could have not been allowed for long. The monetary crisis that we witness will make people question their ways of life. Are their minds the major players in their life and what can be done to change it?

For you, I have some suggestions –

  • Learn to experience the experiences in your life as great or mundane as they may be. Do not judge them; simply experience. When you kiss your loved one BE with her/him. Don't let your mind drift away with thoughts – "does he love me? Where this kiss will lead to? does she kiss me only because she wants my money?"
  • When you wake up in the morning BE in the first moment of the experience. Do not let your mind get into the happening – "Will I have a good day? Did I have a good sleep"? What are my plans for today?"
  • Can you smell a flower without questioning whether it smells good or bad? Can you be with your friend without reflecting on your past shared moments no matter how good or bad they were? Can you eat something without thinking about how fat it is or how nutritious it is or how tasty it is, but rather just feel the taste?
  • Can you go on a vacation without checking if you are having a good time or if everything goes well for you or if your money is well spent? Can you dance with your partner just for the sake of the dance? Without thinking about how well you dance (or not) or how a fine partner you are (or not)?

  • Can you read these words here and then release them from your mind, leave this blog and never ever return again to feed your mind? Can you just go out and experience your life?

Mindenia is a silent and serial killer. You won't have pains until the last moments when it would almost be too late. The sicker you'll get the closer it will bring you to healing. That healing will begin with the death of your constant thinking process, then to the death of your personality and lastly to the emergence of the now moment.

It is a big beautiful world out there; Why don't you go out and Just live it?

Dear @nomad-magus

Excellent publication. You got my attention from the very beginning till the end.

I quite like your writing style, but perhaps I could suggest to add some 'enters' every now and then to separate long blocks of text?

It's a bit hard to read your post the way it is writen now.

I am referring to the transformation of consciousness.

That's a great way of putting it into words. I thought about it as a "transformation of values".

Is it something real or just numbers on a computer's screen?

Money supposed to be a store of value and exchange of value. It doesn't work well as first one (store of value). Anyway it's as real as we all believe it is. Gold is also as real and has value only because we were told that it has value.

ps. you've mentioned Venezuela. are you from there? just curious

Yours, Piotr

Thank you, mate.
Your suggestions are noted and I Will do my best to format my posts in the future, as much as the limitations of the UI allow.

I'm currently in Israel.

Best 👍
