I know you do. Did you invest any fiat at all into Steem or SBD ....

Currently I am at 43 SP and put allot of work in so I can imagine the work your putting in.

No fiat investment.

Did you ship any currency here at all ... traded some BTC perhaps .. Either way keep up what ever you are doing. Its working !

Zero. lol Probably would have been smart to but I think right after I joined there was pretty much a ban on buying crypto with credit cards.

Just for your reference, I made a Steem account in July 2017. But for many months I did not even log in. Then at the end of November I bought 495 SP. I'm now at practically 600 SP, doing nothing more than just use the platform a few minutes a day.

You might want to buy some more while it's below $2 especially after you see the post I make today. :) lol

Thanks for the insight. I didnt do much my first couple months either. I may go back to writing some crypto blogs for new start ups a couple times a week instead of mostly game type posts. I need to find a start up that is offering a good bounty program first though.

My account is growing at a very slow crawl when compared to the time I spend on here but on the other hand my posts usually get lots of interactions and my followers are steadily increasing.

Well, it gets easier with more followers and more SP.

I certainly could use more SP. I may just have to take that plunge and invest. I wanted to grow this account organically with 0 investment other then time. I am not sure that it can be done outside getting lucky. Possibly if I live to be 500 I might have a chance lol.

.....I said the same thing, probably wouldn't make enough to even provide for final burial expenses.

How much time do you spend doing this?

Too much. lol If I am wrong I made a mistake. I see Steem at $1000 in 10 years. Hopefully I am right and I am earning $1,000 a day and not less than $1 an hour. lol

Cheap, but I think it's more likely some newer alternative will pop up and take over the market lead.

Easier said than done. There's like 0 real competitors right now. Maybe minds will become real and maybe EOS will come out with something but I'm doubtful. I think the Steem and SBD blockchains might be a winner. Hard to say for sure though what the future holds but I predict it goes well for the Steem blockchain and I think SBD will stick around as well.

Oh, but there are already competitors and more are in the works. One that's currently already active is Mithril.

I just looked at it the other day and it didn't seem promising but it does have a decent market cap and the video on it I watched today made it seem decent.

I think its possible that something else does come along. Steemit needs to hurry up and improve its features and launch out of Beta before just that happens.

I do believe the potential is there for Steem and Steemit to be big but on the other side of the coin ... Steemit might end up being just a little niche site.
