MSP5K!
The Minnow Support Project is thrilled announce that we have reached 5,000 accounts on Discord! This account was created on 6/9/17. In 2 months and 10 we've built one hell of an organization. We now honor roughly 2,000 votes by minnow every day. We've cast over 40,000 votes, and each has been done manually. We are international in scope with Italian, Nigerian, Turkish, Chinese, and Filipino communities just to name a few.
The account on it's own merits has gone from Minnow to Dolphin and now sits at over 6,000 SP. @minnowsupport now has a rep of 63.
We've built a community of curation accounts that help upvote leaders and quality content. All told the Minnow Support Project has 415 separate delgations with over 184k SP combined.
@minnowsupport just broke 4,000 followers on Steemit.
We have much to be proud of and much to be grateful for!
Witnesses
We have assembled an amazing team of Witnesses to help run, fund, support, and manage the Minnow Support Project. The project is a completely public organization welcome to anyone that can manage to follow our extremely low bar rules. It's a service oriented community and the Publicly Elected Witnesses and the projects they help to create and run are inspirational for this organization.

Then of course we have the moderators!
The spirit of PALnet is community service. It's embodied best by the moderators who spend countless hours interacting and teaching minnows, keepign channels clear of post-spam, deescalaing the relatively small amount of conflict we do have, and running a variety of service projects in and out of the community. I'm humbled everyday by their dedication to this platform and our community.

It's a massive organization and a massive undertaking, and it's powered by volunteers that share a vision of a better world filled with Peace, Abundance, and Liberty. It's an honor to serve alongside such excellent people.

It's hard to have a 5,000 person organization without 5,000 people! We are doing our best everyday to meet our mission to help you grow your account with an active community supporting you. We are doing our best to make sure that minnows don't get lost, but find a community to support them and retain them and their energy on this platform. We're doing our best to ensure this wonderful place we think of as our digital home continues to grow (and moon).

What a journey it has been..the pond is awfully full nowadays
Wow! It's certainly very impressive how this whole initiative has taken off and "become something." Seems like a lot of people have good intentions to create something to "help minnows," but most are long on promises and short on delivering results.... here's the exception!

This is such a wonderful organization of people! I am thankful I found MSP on my first day of Steem it. I have so much still to learn, but the little that I k ow comes from interactions with these terrific community members, and their belief that we all grow by supporting one another!

I am such a minnow that I am still not sure if I am even a minnow or not... but I do see that what would catapult steemit from awesome to THE social media of choice is better curation and it sounds like that is what your are providing. I will help all I can!
