Reputation of 65, a journey worth sharing
About six months ago, I was introduced to this platform by my brother , who has heard of steemit but is not part of the platform . 6 months ago I was trying to find a job but have been unsuccessful with it for the past year . I began to give up and hope for success on this platform .
When I first began, I was currently pregnant with my first child and in hopes to earn income for a better living , man it sure did pay off . The beginning of my journey on this platform was tough, very tough . It was beyond difficult earning even .25 on a post to know where I can manage to get $10+ on a post . How did I do it ? I worked my ass off !
My first post honestly sucked and along with a couple more , none of them gained awareness so I tried to change the game plan. If anyone who knows me , knows that I spent day and night commenting commenting commenting on everyone’s post and engaging in others material, which led me to where I stand today. I can not stress the importance of engagement on this platform that everyone needs to go . Content can come after you have an audience that will visit your page and be curious of who you are .
65 was tough to get to and I know it will get tougher along the way, but I like challenges . I Ann now able to stand on my feet and support not only myself but my 4 month old as well . I was able to earn an income to pay for my college and all necessary things I need . I am beyond thankful for the opportunity this platform has given me , it has given me another chance at life .
I plan to never give up and keep striving every level of the way and I’d like to thank everyone for supporting me through my battles . Cheers 🍻

Thanks for sharing your strategy that indeed helps me and a lot of other minnows as well (changing game plan and stick with hard work, never give up and finally God would help someone who help themselves first.. :) ).. you sum it up pretty well...

Wow. What a great story.. This deserves to be shared. Very inspirational and I think very important advice for anyone who is just starting out and doesn't really have a pre existing audience. I think you pointed out one of the most important things you can do.. Socialize with others, go on their blogs and follow them and talk to them and then in time, if you do that enough it really pays off and each one of your posts tends to reach more people.
Many great artists and content creators in general don't get seen enough because they just put out their artwork and they don't interact with others and network enough.. That's one thing steem has been teaching me even more than I already understood and I think a lot of other people are learning that more as well.
