Hello, steemit followers and new joined bloggers. You are always keen to know that whenever you post a blog , and people cast there vote or comments on your blog , there is very small amount of dollar is generated or sometime it is even zero and this is always not in proportion , in respect to your other blogs.
Am i right ? Always think , but does not get any answer ? why this happen ?

Let us try to find the answer, Technically how much an upvote produce money for you depends upon many factor. One of which factor is i am going to explain now is VOTING POWER.
Yes, VOTING POWER may decide how much you paid by the upvoter. So, what is voting power in steemit. Voting power refers to how much money do you give someone from each of your upvotes.
Now the next question is coming in your mind that how to increase your voting power. The answer is even more simpler hold as much as steem cryptocurrency in your wallet on the STEEMIT site, the more voting power you have.
Second way is to produce quality content At least 50% of all the rewards that your blog posts receive will be credited as Steem Power. Thats all you needed.

Limit on how many times you can upvote :

As all new steemit blogger do , I also do that without knowing the technical background of voting , I Voted to everyone who voted me. And , become friends to each other and exchange our votes in our respective posts. After sometime i marked that even after large amount of votes and comments my income is not generated. After doing technical analysis of my friends who cast there vote in favour of me i found that they have very low voting power. And this is continuously decreasing with each upvote ,reply or comment.
Now i understand steemit is not just a small concept platform where anyone will produce a large sum with just upvote, reply or comment. Only those are going to be paid here whose post deserves to be paid. Whose post really meant something.
With each time we cast vote ; our voting power will goes on decreasing and it even lead to zero. Yes you read right our voting power becomes zero , if we randomly cast our vote here and there.
Voting power decreases with each upvote. At 100% , your one upvote will decrease your voting power by 2% per vote. Every person you vote next will get less voting power than earlier , with simple mathematics every time 2 % decreases from what we have left voting power.
Now comes to good point in every 24 Hours 20% of the voting power regenerate. Don't drain your Steem Power to levels below 80%.

So in golden rule i suggest that “ never cast more than 11 votes in 24 Hours or in a day ”. And always try to keep your voting power in between 80% to 100%.

Now the next question that click in your mind that how we track this , just go to www.steemnow.com. Under setting tab put your username and save it . This give you your real time data. And thats all.

So my friends Now you understand that your voting power is of some worth. Never spent it carelessly. Go find some good content , and cast your vote there.
Now comes to the topic that Why whales are paid more ?
It is due to there good quality content and high steem power ( i.e. high upvoting power) , is the key behind whales whose incomes are in thousands of dollars. And of course behind these dollars , there is continuous and rigorous efforts that whales put in there posts.
