We all need mentors no doubt and when we do get these mentors, we are somehow motivated knowing someone is taking it upon themselves to mentor you.
Mentorship is great and will help us get better but, it all boils down to our ability to take in good strides, what we are mentored on.
No matter who mentors you, the end result will end with the You factor to make it seem like a win or a lost.
You must be ready to accept yourself as the winner you seek to be irrespective of having a mentor or not.
Mentorship is a big deal to many and when we have the right attitude, it will help us get the right results from the memtorship program.
You must be strong enough to believe in yourself no matter what happens and where you get placed. The ability to see beyond your nose is one reason why you will be able to gain good success from mentorship.
Did you know that, not everyone who gets mentored turned out great? Mentorship is a symbiotic relationship between the mentor and mentee.
It's like taking a stone and getting them enrolled in the best school in the world; I am sure we both know there stone will never be able to soak in the knowledge.
Believe in yourself and see that, there is something to be worth celebrating about your life whether you have a mentor or not.

Mentorship is a veritable tool for coaching and impact of knowledge and experiences. Just like you've shared, people need to know that it doesn't propagate to desired results or automatic success in life.

@ejemai, I understand u need to believe in yourself but to get to the top u need someone already there to mentor u about all that goes on at the top and how to deal with it. But having a mentor doesn't mean that u need to meet the person, u can have someone as a mentor through his books,audio or video messages.
One thing is for us to have mentors, another is for us to really glean lessons from their lives and do them.
In the real sense, though mentors may be there to advise, we have to be conscious of the fact that we are the first hand bearers of risk that may arise from the decisions we take.
