Travel with Me(ne) to Pier 39

Today, I took Mene to San Francisco’s Pier 39.

First, we needed to fill up on some cheap California gas:

As a reminder, 24karat gold protects you from inflation.

When we arrived, we took the obligatory Sea Lion photo. They are small in the picture, but trust me, they are there and they are LOUD:

I saw vessel called “blue and gold” which reminded me of Mene colors, which is not abnormal, since EVERYTHING reminds me of Mene:

That shadowy blob in the background is “The Rock” aka Alcatraz.

It made sense to take a photo of this magic shop:

I’m always on the hunt for gold, and it wasn’t hard to find. After all, San Francisco is the home of the 49’ers:

And the Golden Gate Bridge:

Pier 39 has this carousel which reminded me of Catcher in the Rye. One of the final scenes involved a symbolic golden ring:

All this activity called for dinner:

Yep, thats the Impossible Burger. I mean, it’s San Francisco remember?

We also got paper straws.

Despite the extreme environmentalism, it was a wonderful experience and I recommend checking out Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf to all travelers!
