The story behind the image is that this infant, 10-weeks from conception, was removed, along with the mother's uterus, to save the mother's life from cancer.
I can scarcely imagine the heartbreak of that mother, of that family.
@inphiknit has challenged us to make some memes,
for the purpose of saving lives. More lives.

That's just very sad. It is indeed very painful for the mother that she needs to sacrifice her child just to be safe. I couldn't imagine how she feels the moment she knew that.
