RE: CRITICIZED BY @ONEALFA FOR SELF-UPVOTING; HE DOES IT TWICE AS MUCH AS I DO

in #meme6 years ago

You make some very valid points @bi5h0p and so does @onealfa. The problem I which both of you have mentioned is it's ok to upvote your comment for visibility purposes but not ok to upvote for income sake.

Yet you cannot know why a person is upvoting their own comment unless you ask them. I can see if the comment along the lines of LOL or Thank You, but if it is a legitimate conversation then that should be brought up. This seems like 2 differences of opinions, which would mean a gray area open to interpretation.

I admit, I am still pretty new to most of this. However, there seems to be 2 sets of rules. One the Whales use and the one for the rest of us. Seems to me upvoting your own comment for visibility or not is an abuse of the pool (if I am wrong please say so) Along with that thinking just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.

I have seen several Whales admit to upvoting their own comments and posts, even though no matter what they post they're making hundreds each post. While the community in general is positive it can be just as spiteful. There are legitimate reason to downvote someone...BUT OMG don't do that because they retaliate. (Broken system) You upset someone , such as a situation like this then again someone gets downvoted to oblivion (Broken System) As long as you don't offend anyone, question them and stay in your hole you're safe.

Kudos to @bi5h0p for actually saying something. At the same time though thank you to @onealfa for responding and trying to communicate.

Well, it's pretty simple to understand that SteemIt has basically become a failed social media experiment, and is now a place where people with money stand around and have a circle-jerk with each other while talking about what a "cool anarchist" and promoter of freedom they think they have become - and, if anyone with a lesser investment disagrees with them, they're going to suffer financial abuse and violence for doing so. That is exactly what #onealfa is doing here, and that is all he's been about - to me - as much as I have known or interacted with him on SteemIt: simply listen to and agree with all of my opinions, or you'll be punished - because I have more money than you.

That's not "social media" - that is "SOCIALISM MEDIA" - and, who needs that? They can send this crap back to Russia, for all I care any more.

All of his harassment of me began a couple of days ago - apparently because he's feeling butthurt that I quit following his failed, non-interesting, and non-relevant blog. I didn't say or post or vote a single thing to or about them - just simply stopped following them. Now, that is apparently some kind of a major offense on my part. Whatever.
