Meme Analysis: Facebook Pt.1 Zuckerbot
In the midst of the Facebook crisis that’s going on right now, I saw it fitting to make a 2-part meme analysis, each part focusing on a different meme that covers an aspect of Facebook.
- Zuckerbot (The one you are reading right now)
- Facebook Memes (Not memes about Facebook, the memes FROM Facebook and memes that mock them)
Zuckerbot was the name given to Zuckerberg due to his, well, relatively robotic behavior. The meme compares him to a robot/alien. This name originated from one of the most powerful gods of memes; Filthy Frank. This was the persona of Zuckerberg from Filthy Frank’s video:

So being a meme, Zuckerberg’s social behavior is, of course, blown out of proportion. Still, there’s no denying there is a little bit of truth to this. After all, most jokes are based off of truth.
So then, people started taking Zuckerberg’s own post and translating them into Zuckerbot.
As you can tell, they make it sound like he is trying to convince the viewers that he is human, since in “meme lore”, he isn’t. God, did I just say meme lore? What the fuck am I doing with my life?

Overall, this is a pretty dank and cancerous meme, especially since Filthy Frank had a touch in it. But it’s a rare one, so you aren’t going to see it out there much. However, be prepared. Tomorrow, I am going to be covering parodies of memes from Facebook, and we all know how cringey Facebook memes are. Unfortunately, people think it’s a good idea to post that kind of shit here, because if you check the meme posts, you’re gonna be surprised at how many there is. But that’s why I, Meme-Nexus, am here; to smite the shit memes and bring in the dank-ass memes.
