    I have mixed opinions on this.

    On one side, your past does influence your future and the actions you take in it. If you have a great past and reputation, it's likely that it's gonna be easier for you to grow faster.

    But on the other side, your past isn't the only factor that determines your future. Your environment plays a big role too. You could be a millionaire today and a vagabond tomorrow.

      I agree with this - It's like that saying, "don't rest on your laurels." meaning that a person or business should not base its future on its past success. For example, If an artist became popular for something they did and instead of innovating and changing and taking risks they keep repeating that original project thinking that that "home run" will guarantee future success.

        yes, right if we aways think on our past we never be success in our present day. its no matter what were we. if we think that, we were a school topper so we must be got a bilinear job, this thinks always stop us to our success. success always depend on, what are we doing now not what were we done. but one thing we must be remember that somethings hold on our hand and we loose it so we must be try it again again. because if we can done anything so it will can done by us in the future.
