In 'posts', at the bottom of the text input box you should see a small bar letting you click to add a photo.
In 'comments' the best way to do it is to 'copy' an image, and then 'paste' it (or its link if its already online) to the text box. This also works in posts.

Keep in mind that votes and interaction are far from assured. It takes work. Earn followers. Find your 'value' that you offer the community. It may take a little time but you'll see results. :c)
