Team Malaysia Meetup | Durian | BKT | Hanbing | Mamak on 21/4/2018

After a long day of dealing with my personal stuff, I finally have the chance to meet up teammalaysia community for food hunting! As usual teammalaysia meetup, we usually gather for food and the first stop of the day was for the king of fruit which is durian at Say Heng Durian Stall at USJ 14. The meetup time was 5 pm and I reach the durian place about 505pm and I saw Aaron & Joanne were there already and they were talking to the durian owner and taking video for dlive. It was a good weather to have durian as the rain just over and the environment was so cooling.

We have a total of 20+ show up at the durian which is very impressive for me. It just shows that all of us were so love durian, all of us were so excited to meet each other to catch up, and the friendship bonding is so strong within the teammalaysia community.

The durian owner started to open few durians for us, he told us to take the sweet durian first, then bitter durian. The durian was REALLY REALLY NICE and finger licking good! No joke! Obviously, way better than some durian stall in SS2. We took a lot of wefie, group photos, and chit-chat. Those group photos have to wait for Aaron or zord189 to post on steemit. We were there until about 7 pm before we move to next stop.

Our next stop will be our dinner Bah Kut Teh(BKT), another favourite food among the teammalaysia community. The dinner place at Restoran Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh at SS14 Subang. At SS14 you will find out most of the shop lot were BKT and almost all of them were full during dinner hour especially weekend! Luckily we have few steemian who were there for reservation. Some of us didn't show up at durian place they just joined us dinner so during dinner I think we have about 30+ pax as we reserved for 3 tables. We ordered a dry BKT (slightly spicy), 1 big pot of soup BKT with pork intestine, and few veggies.

Suppose the original plan was durian & BKT, however, some of us were actually craving for dessert I guess, so we decided on the spot to have our third stop at Hanbing Korean Dessert at SS15 courtyard. For the third round, we still have 15 people strong for the dessert. The place was almost full as well (weekend everywhere also full) and the waitress were figuring out how to cater all of us. Luckily there was one big table were leaving in 5 minutes and the table was just nice to cater all of us. All of the desserts look nice tho, I wanted to order their green tea with red mocha hanbing, but unfortunately not available! So I ordered their Injeolmi Red Bean Snow Ice which is peanut on top and there were few Injeolmi inside the snow ice. The snow ice wasn't plain snow ice, I think is a milk snow ice.

Actually, yesterday meetup was bidding farewell for @heartscally as she will be going back to Thailand today. Around 1030pm some of us were started to leave especially those who come with family and kids. Is their kids sleeping time already so they have to go back and let their kids shower and rest.

Well, we thought we shall call it a day and everyone go back and take a rest. Out of sudden, we saw our big brother bitrocker2020 show up at the dessert place. Haha, and we had our fourth round with him! We went to nearby mamak stall and continue chit-chat. At fourth round, we only left 7 of us and we chit chat until they chase us as they were going to close their stall. We finally call it a day around 1 am in the morning! It was so tired and yet it was so happy and having so much fun meeting all of them!
