Announcing the Steemit Uyo MeetUp and Reachout #2.
The Steemit community in Nigeria continues to grow at an alarming speed and STACH is happy to be associated with vibrant Nigerians who are identifying with the Steem!
Where or What is Uyo?
Uyo is the Capital City of the Oil rich Akwa Ibom State in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria, and it is home to Six High Institutions of learning, various multi national corporations and a rich destination for tourism. The Capital city has a population of over 500,000 inhabitants with the youths representing more than 80% of this number.
The Steemit community in Uyo is headed by @samstickkz and @evelyniroh both wonderful individuals with a 'can do attitude.' The Uyo community is a vibrant community that boasts of over 20 daily active users on the Steemit platform and the number keeps rowing with additions on daily basis.
Venue, Date and Time.
The Meetup is scheduled to hold at Mummy J Cuisine bar, Uyo the Capital city. The venue is a good walking distance to major attraction sites and the University of Uyo.
Date and Time.- Saturday 11th November 2017 @ 10am.
Target.
This Meetup aims to capture as many as 100 young Nigerians who are yearning to find freedom and create their income pool. The city is ripe and the Steem is just getting started as @samstickkz and his team are gunning for victory.

The team have had series of meetups starting from just a few number to over a dozen the last time. This time promises to be even bigger. You can read more about their previous meetups Here and Here.

Having been working with these leaders of the Steemit Uyo community with some of them as members of STACH, this Meetup will be used to formally introduce the Steem Accelerator Hub to the Steemit community in Uyo; Setup is already in the works.
With the introduction of a Steem Accelerator Hub in the city, more Steemians will be onboarded and given a chance to experience the Steem first hand as it is being experienced in Port Harcourt.***
