Helping Hands- Uyo Team Steemit Meet-up

And finally The steemit meet-up in Uyo took place. The idea which was brought up by @samstickks was aimed at reaching out to people and introducing them to the steemit community, showing them the relevance of steemit. The meet-up is also aimed at helping newbies, teaching them all the need to know about steemit, including the act of avoiding plagiarism which is one of the most important things to do on steemit. I am not really a sociable person but the meeting gave me the opportunity to meet lots of amazing people and socialize and also learn one or two things from them. We started by introducing ourselves and I got to make new friends. People like @ifioklee, @ishotz @datibomchic @shugar @eno @xpressng @kingjrn @ukemewalter @emem @mritsnobigdeal, my humble boss @samstickkz and myself were present at the meeting. Things discussed in the meeting.

1. Steem, steem power, steem dollar
2. The need to reach out to other people on campus
3. Ways to make quality posts and avoid plagiarism
4. Helping newbies having issues with their steemit accounts
5. Educating newbies about steem.now and steemvoter
6. Ways to add value to steemit.
7. The work of upvoting bots.

This meeting is the very first large meeting in Uyo, and its gonna be a weekly meeting to move the community forward. In the next meeting we would be expecting much more people because steemit is a huge opportunity for the Nigerian youths. If you stay in Uyo, dont miss the next meeting. Lots of decisions were made at the meeting in preparation for the steemit Uyo reach out which will take place on the 10th of November. Its gonna be hot o! Am really excited about it. We are hoping to develop whales and big investors on steemit, winks.
