It's Getting Bigger and Clearer!
We're now on our 4th week of our basketball meetup. Week by week we're growing and it's totally overwhelming to see a lot of Steemians joining this kind of event - Making Steemit as a tool to conduct recreational activities and meetups. I am a community-driven person, very passionate when it comes to joining community related initiatives especially when it comes to promoting Steemit.
We're getting bigger and clearer week by week. With just around 10 Steemians on our first meetup, I can't believe we are about 40 Steemians now joining and playing. That picture is just a photo of us who chose to remain and play and play until the reservation time runs out. But during the 10am time, a lot of Steemians come with us and even play. I personally can't name them all but let's try.

What's more good is that our Chairperson of the College of Engineering likes to play with us too.
Our Steemit Jersey was also released
We had agreed to print Steemit Jersey with payments via Steem, our post earnings. I seek to implement this jersey with the help of my Steemit friends @loydjayme25, @melsmacan, @dopinthezone and @jbeguna04 for the printing of this Jersey. For me, it looks very neat and on next week, we believe this will be even bigger as we will be using this jerseys on our next games. Plus, we're preparing for something big too. Yes, I'm talking about hosting a Steemit basketball league.
The cost of printing such is Php. 680.00 (around 13 USD) for the full set and Php. 460.00 (9 USD) for upper jersey only. I started to collect their payments via SBD (though SBD's became significantly low). Despite the loss, I'm really happy that the jerseys were released on time. It's such cool to see we're now having a uniform whenever we play.
The Start of Steemit Basketball League
@loydjayme25 and @melsmacan will start to conduct our first Steemit Basketball League, it's a basketball league for Cebu Steemians aiming to bond and unite in achieving Steemit goals together. We believe this will be a great initiative to hook up individuals who like to play basketball and start Steeming. Philippines is a basketball crazy country and we want to take advantage of that. So, I truly believe in the potential of this league. With the support of every individuals playing and with the constant support from @donkeypong and @surpassinggoogle. Thank you for your all out support.
