Malta AI & Blockchain Summit 2019
2018 Malta Blockchain Summit conference was highly successful and paved the way for greater innovation in the sector with many new startups setting up camp in the European nation.
Malta has clearly cemented itself as The Blockchain Island of Europe with the launch of Three Bills during the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit last November.
In 2019, the Blockchain Island is moving beyond the hype. The Maltese Government will enact another world first: a Fourth Bill, giving a D.A.O. its own legal personality. In addition, a task force is also working around the clock on a set of incentives that will support businesses in Artificial Intelligence.
2019 Malta AI & Blockchain Summit will see stakeholders across AI, Big Data, Blockchain, IoT and Quantum Technology engaging in discussions that's bound to create a major positive impact in the domain.
They have a very good list of speakers and Spring edition of the event is scheduled for 23-24 May. This time they will have an AI startup pitch + STO (Securities Token Offering) Battle as well, giving opportunities to rising startups to meet investors attending the event.
Overall Malta is shaping up as a great location for Blockchain industry and stakeholders from all over the world. Many Indian startups in this space have chosen Malta in recent times as well.
