Teammalaysia Sabah, Meetup at JL Kivatu Cafe
Last night, Teammalaysia Sabah region had its 2nd meetup at JL Cafe at 7.00pm. This time, we were very fortunate that Steem Witness, @bitrocker2020 was able to come and meet all the Steemians that attended the meetup. We are so grateful to get the chance to meet him and learned invaluable info from him. The night won't be complete without the attendance of our two Steem Ambassador @danieldoughty and @veenang. They also provided us with great info and tips about Steemit, Steemhunt and exciting current and future news about Steemit.
There were seventeen (17) of us who turned up for the meetup, and it was great for me to finally meet @srapdsign and @davidngtv in person for the first time. Not forgetting @papanog whom I last met in March this year during the K.K Masterclass. We had our dinner and drinks before we started our meetup, and JL Cafe is the first cafe or restaurant in Sabah that accepts SBD or STEEM as payment.
The night started with talks about Byteball, Wordpress and Steempress (kudos to @bboyady for teaching us about Steempress). I'm not going to elaborate much about these two for I am still learning about it myself. Maybe you guys can make your own research and make an article about it. I've learned a lot about Byteball from @bitrocker2020 and @arwine but I still need to learn more on how to increase my Byteball Token. They told me it was easy, I will try out their method soon.
@danieldoughty and @bitrocker2020 told us about a plan to form a greater Steemit community for the South East Asian Region. I think it is a really **BIG** plan, and it will need a huge effort to make it happen. I really hope that they will succeed as I believe it will bring great benefits to Steemians of this region, especially newbies.
We were also been informed about the **Borneo Blockchain Summit** that will be held at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on the 7th, 8th & 9th September 2018. It's a collaboration effort between Steem Malaysia and Bitcoin Malaysia to introduce and educate more people about the Blockchain. They even intend to invite a few Sabah State Ministers or Government Reps so that they will have a vague ideas about the blockchain and how it can be used in the state governing system. This is a very excellent plan indeed, I wonder if those Government reps will be intrigued about the blockchain and adopted it for their network system?
We ended the meetup around 9.00pm as the guys had to meet @wilsonkoh at another venue. It's been a very successful and fruitful meetup tonight. We have gained and learned a lot of tips and infos from the gurus, but the most important thing is that we were able to meetup as friends. There is so many things to talk about and the night was filled with lots of laughter, especially from @kilathecla and @viverridae.

Thank you bro, a bit messed up that night when suddenly many customers came. But luckily we managed to pull a few tables and chairs when the custmers left and did our meetup.
