CXC Music Review

Well hello there, I hope you're having a good day. I know I am. It only feels better when I visit Stateofthedapps and notice the plethora of Steem based DApps that abound in there. Wait are you seriously not on steemit?

Steemit is the place where cool ideas come from, Irrespective of what it is about, as long as it's cool, there's a place for it on steemit. Take videos for example; we've got Dtube and Dporn if you know what I mean and that's not all too. We have all sorts of cool games Dapps topping the list of Stateofthedapps ranking. Then I encountered CxC music and realised, we're even cooler than I initially thought we were.
What Is CXC Music?

cXc Music offers artists and listeners a new way to connect on a global and local level. When you post a song on cXc Music, anyone looking at your city on the app will see it.
Our revolutionary map allows you to find and share music in your local area, or anywhere in the world. Our tools help put you on the map, metaphorically and literally. Listeners: Find new and hot music made in your area. Artists: Share your music with the community instantly. cXc provides free tools to share your music, and climb to the top of the charts in your area code and beyond.
Anyone can post on cXc Music without an account, but users logged in via Steemconnect will be able to post their music and music they find on Steemit with one click.

I'm not going to lie to you, you need to spend a lot more time on Stateofthedapps, there's just so much cool stuff there and boy was I impressed by how cool this is. I'm a bit of a conundrum, I like things when they're very simple but I also love things with sophisticated/aeasthetic appeal and this platform certainly falls into this category.

Worldwide Music

I love me some music; if you go through my playlist, you'll find a rather mixed array of music from all corners. I listen to both local and Foreign music. On the local scene, we have some various indigenious languages and I have no idea what they're actuall singing but it's music and i don't necessarily have to understand the language' On the international scene, I love a lot of foreign acts from all genres, yet i still don't understand the songs despite the fact it is in English language(Try listening to Coldplay then you'll understand), however, I feel the song and thats all that matters to me.

Here, I'll do a quick rundown about to use this platform and some of its cool features

• Steemit Login: It is a platform that runs on steemit so you can log in typically the way you would login to most steemit based Dapps, by selecting the "steemit login" at the bottom of the page and inputting your details in the Steemconnect portal. Always ensure you're using Steemconnect. If you don't have a Steemit account, simply sign up here
• Choosing To Taste: at the top right of the screen, there's an array of options to choose your songs based on. You can decide to choose based on your mood, genre or format.
• Listening To Songs: If you find a song you would like to listen to, simply hover over one of those circles on the screen to get details about it. You can also listen to songs in your location by clicking on "go to my location" at the bottom of the screen and granting permission.
• Upvoting: Cryptovoting is the central component of cXc Mapps, but this ain't it. We can't implement our Purple Cryptovoting system until the launch of SMTs, so for now we have a super-simplified Steemit-integrated system that will be transitioned into Purple as things gear-up. source
• Posting On Steemit: If you find a song that you like and would love to share it with the steemit community, you click on the circle affiliated to the song, scoll to the bottom of the pop up menu that will come out and select "post to steemit". The song will instantly be shared as a post on your steemit account.

Summary:
It is a cool platform and the thing I like most about it is probably what I don't like about it(I told you I was a conundrum). I recommend this platform for upcoming musicians and those interested in promoting or getting their music accross. It is limited of course as it only focuses on music when in reality, there's a lot more we could do with sound through spoken words, poetry etc.
