Meat that tastes like Murder
Hygiene havoc reigning at U.S. meat facilities, with new analysis showing 15% of U.S. meat consumers suffer from foodborne illness each year! No wonder as it is legal to sell meat with some salmonella and there is an increasing push to further deregulate and speed up factor farm and industrial megaplant production. Some of the highlights of the survey are as follows:
• Pig carcasses piled on factory floors in contamination of grease, blood and other filth
• Meat riddled with fecal matter and abscesses with seeping pus
• Hoses spraying up filthy floors next to production lines packaging food products
• Overflowing floor drains backed up by meat parts, fat, and grizzle creating floor hazards
• Dirty chicken, soaked in own feces laying on floor and put back on production line after quick rinse off
While inspections chronicle hundreds of violations per week, it is thoroughly unknown the extent of other egregious policies or backwards procedures threatening world consumers. Fast line speeds make it inevitable that some infectious pathogens and other filth path from carcass to product. U.S. meat outbreaks are significantly higher than in the E.U.
So enjoy that mystery meat, if you dare. Better yet, turn up your propensity to a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.

Yes pretty revolting. We do need to look in the mirror. I’ve been slowly reducing my meat intake, especially red meat and substituting with turkey.
My wife does not eat any dairy, so I have also cut a lot of that out of my diet recently as well.

In addition to the torture of the cattle, the forests are destroyed to make way for grazing land, we all need to look in the mirror.

That is pretty sick!! Not to mention the conditions in some of the slaughterhouses. I've been sliding away from beef over the last 6 months or so. Not totally.....but I eat very little. Feel healthier too. : )
