Brainsteem Mathematics Challenges: Prime Triangle
The image below shows a triangular shape with four circles along each side. The aim is to place a different prime number within each circle so that the sum of the four numbers along each side is the same.
What is the smallest possible sum of all nine numbers?
As always, these questions are designed to be done by hand, without computational assistance. In this case, you should find some structure to the puzzle so that you can then generate many other such triangles of primes.
