Mathematics is everywhere in our lives - by @dcrypto

I have been listening since my college days that learning mathematics is a waste of time. Not only during the period but also now in all social media we can come across some comics on math like why we need Calculus and Trigonometry. Nothing develops without the intervention of mathematics.
Mathematics is everywhere in our lives starting from the bed; many people are using math by setting off their alarm. It can be a cook, farmer, engineer or a scientist. Everyone uses math in their day-to-day life. Many people use math for so many reasons like reasoning, creativity, abstract or spatial thinking, critical thinking, and for problem-solving ability.
The most critical and common usage of mathematics in our daily life is in finances like spending, investing and saving. The world is driven by money and math to help in various calculations. Even if we and trading crypto and transfer one coin to another we need excellent mathematical skills beyond the basics. A few days back I was using a ping pong, and arbitrage bot for multiple exchanges and I noticed one should have a very complex level of mathematics understanding. Even people who often deal with loans and investment need a good level of math understanding. Also one should have a good knowledge of calculations to estimate their future regarding spending and future projections.

Maintaining a task manager in phone or a traditional diary has become an essential part of our lives. To be on time for an appointment and having a schedule for future appointments requires basic math and understanding of time. Polls and statistics in the news are helping us to make decisions what other people think and what their preferred things are. Math is required to gather and interpret data for statistical analysis. Today we have different types of machine learning techniques that are available for data analysis and data cleaning for a verity of sectors.

Human memory is the result of different mental processes, such as learning, remembering and forgetting. However, these distinct processes cannot be observed directly. Researchers at the University of Basel now succeeded at describing them using computational models. The scientists were thus for the first time able to identify gene sets responsible for steering specific memory processes.

Their results have been published in the current issue of the journal PNAS. Direct Source – This in many websites but the main source is from University of Basel
Besides, math is very helpful in developing critical thinking. Practically there are no numbers in this concept, but the more numbers or puzzles you solve, the more you train your brain to think critically. Word problems, Sudoku, Chess, Go will help an individual form an early age to develop logical thinking and aptitude reasoning in ourselves. To be more efficient in our everyday life we should have good logical thinking and math will help to be a good rational person.
This generation is one of the skill-development and innovations age. To be more successful, we should have a more mathematical approach. Math will enhance rationality in our thoughts. Let us realize and practice the beauty of Math as a subject and for critical thinking from our heart.

Indeed! This is a good post! Math is essential and is very much needed in today’s society! In addition, it’s often undervalued!

I completely agree, math is very important in our lives. We would not progress without it.

Keep up the good work,
