MarketFriday – Bulgarian honey

Today is #MarketFriday!!! The market of a small Bulgarian town can not boast of great variety. But when we come there to rest we necessarily go to the local market. There you can buy a lot of goods related to beekeeping. We were told that only those who are engaged in beekeeping can sell it. From the side no one can get permission to sell such goods.
Before you honey of different kinds: floral, acacia, limes, etc. There you can also buy home-made jams from local berries: strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, black currant. We bought a blueberry jam: yummy!
The long black in the jar is propolis; it has a very strong anti-inflammatory effect, is an excellent antiseptic. Very useful thing! On the top photo you saw small white bottles - this is tincture of propolis. Of course, we bought it home. Near the propolis you see pollen; it is very useful to eat it on an empty stomach 1 teaspoon. We bought several jars with it for ourselves and friends.

We buy all this not only to bring home - in Israel these things are very expensive - but also to eat while you are there. Rest with them is getting more delicious!
