📷 Marketfriday at the fair
Have a nice day! Today we will go to the fair again. This time there were many paintings of different materials. My attention was immediately attracted by a picture embroidered with satin ribbons. This work is called "Spring".
Today our masters often embroider according to already prepared schemes. This is quite a painstaking job that requires care and patience. But the result is quite beautiful.
The pictures were very different. And these are made of polymer clay and paints.
And such in the form of wall panels.
Here even the clock was painted all the patterns in the folk style.
It was very interesting to look at such works.
Everyone could immediately attend a master class at the famous potters of Kuban.

These are absolutely fabulous! The Kuban Masters have outdone themselves with their beautiful palette of colors and details. I loved the shot of the potter's wheel and the Master, sitting and waiting to teach the eager students, no doubt.
I am off on vacation already and taking a few moments to relax and read some #MarketFriday posts. Of course, I am happy to see people still posting to the challenge!!!

That all looks so incredibly amazing! I really like embroideries too, but dont' see that many of them. It's almost a lost art, and I admire anyone who has the patience, knowledge, and expertise to do them.
That potter looks like he's using a manual/foot powered wheel. Now that's impressive. Pottery is also a type of art that a lot of people think they can do until they try it. I like to imagine what life must have been like 3,000 years ago - or more! - when potters were in high demand and hugely respected. It's neat to see people still engaging in the practice without the modern amenities (though I suspect he uses an electric kiln, because anything else is just dangerous)
