South Korean Electronic Mart

This is my second #marketfriday and I would like to thank @dswigle for coming up with the idea. Today I will walk you through a local electronics mart full of awesome goodies! .

I normally hate shopping and walking around in a department store is a drag, always so busy and nothing really to buy. I am a get in get out kind of guy when I need to buy something. Unless that something is electronic, then I am like a kid in a candy store! Today I will show you my favorite store in South Korea: ELECTRO MART! The store that has it all, even some things you would never expect...

Right at the entrance you get a nice warm welcome by the awesome Electro-Man!

It goes on forever, electronics as far as the eye can see, right about here where I start acting like an excited little puppy not knowing which way to go first. =)

Walk with me while we explore the store and all the goodies within.

Wait, what? I thought you said they have electronics? Indeed they do but this store holds many secrets, the perfect place for when the zombie apocalypse hits. We got clothes and all the random gear we might need. Running water and waterproof paper. What else do we need?

Enough thinking of how we could use the wired keyboards as weapons against the zombies, let's move on.

Cool VR setup that you can try out...

Hehehe, funny everytime! =)

"Dear Steemit Santa, I know it's late but all I want for Christmas is this Extra Ultra Wide Monitor from Samsung. As you can see it is amazing and will let me be so much more productive."

20171228_151048.jpg

Roughly $1600, ouch! One day I will buy this, maybe next Christmas.

After drooling over the monitor for about 20 minutes I finally snapped back to reality and the sound of games called to me... Not your typical computer games though...

20171228_151146.jpg

Yes, yes I did play. The recoil on these are really cool!

20171228_151652.jpg

Awesome gaming laptops. I once saw a Korean kid pull up a chair, log in with his Overwatch account and then gathered a crowd while he kicked some serious butt! Legend has it he goes to a different Electro Mart each day. =)

20171228_151716.jpg

Move along... Not yet, I will come back for your awesome megapixels another day... another day...

Dancing Robots? YES PLEASE!

20171228_152016.jpg

The Classics. I think @hanshotfirst will like these.

20171228_152113.jpg

This cool Spiderman has sensors in its eyes and starts talking with you after you walk past it... I was going to listen but then I saw this instead. Look down!
20171228_152119.jpg

Really wanted to play and fight with the robots but they didn't seem to work.

Some more awesome figurines.

20171228_152239.jpg

The Superman was life size! Amazing and made me wonder who bought these...

Time for SoundTown!

So waterproof that they sell it in water, touché Sony, touché.

Thinner than my phone and totally awesome! It was on a slideshow loop and one of the pictures had a frame around it. At a distance, it looked like real life painting. Another item for my Steemit Santa.

For the kids, wish I was a kid in this awesome day and age!

Awesomeness overload, let's take a break and look at some boring stuff. Queue the elevator music...

20171228_152814.jpg

Korea has fridges especially for Kimchi. I know for a fact that most of the space is used for stocking up beer, but it's a good sell if you buy your wife a large kimchi fridge. =P

Let's fly back to the cool stuff!

20171228_154332.jpg

Think this was the first time that I called a drone sexy.

Only in Korea will you go shopping for electronics, buy a kimchi fridge and then stock it with the alcohol found in the next aisle.

And so this awesome #marketfriday must come to an end. Oh wait, one last thing. Did I tell you they also sell vegetables? Look at the potatoes on display, one is even called X, must be an American thing. =P

Hi @scrooger! You have received 0.1 SBD tip + 0.09 SBD @tipU from @dswigle :)

Check out new tipuvote! feature :)

You were so right! That was the best electronics store that I have ever seen! I cannot thank you enough for bringing that to #MarketFriday and giving the presentation that you did.

So over the top awesome!

Your attention to all those fine details was amazing! Thank you so much! I want a store like that!!

Upped and steemed tip!

Awesome! Thank you @dswigle! Appreciate it, and really do like the market Friday idea. Don't think I will b able to make a post every week but whenever I go somewhere interesting and market related I will blog it and share with the awesome #marketfriday tag!

See you again this coming Friday! =P

Really wished that this one was life size. =P

Which part of it specifically? ;)

All of it! Hahaha!

Can't argue with that. :P

That is what I like about your guys market. You have everything out and ready to be test and use by possible consumers.

Only 3.5m million for a refrigerator eh? Hehhe. You guys have an awesome market it seem most of everything is out for display and you can interact with it. Always boring when everything is just in a box might as well buy it online for cheaper at that point…

Haha those are even larger potatoes today with them having same cpu exploits all the others do. I just refer to them as expensive paper weights!

Booyah! You got an upvote just for the paperweights! Hahaha, yeah here in Korea I am a millionaire simply because they do not have cents. 1mil Won is around 1000USD. lol

They take their kimchi fridges really serious. =)

I also like testing stuff out before buying. The main reason why I got there. =)

What a fun store!! I would like shopping there, too!

A really fun store indeed. I know there are bigger ones with a fully functional bar as well. =P

I love the captain America idea....iron man will hit hard....

Thanks for the tour lol, I am sure most guys LOOOOOOVE that place. So many gadgets. I liked some of them also, I could use that superman statue for a friend of mine lol

Guys and kids, the best place in the world! Perfect for when the girls go shopping at the other stores. It's like a kid play ground for grown men.

what a cool market! many many things I wish I could buy over there :D

Way too many things! It's a bit pricey though, still a lovely place to get some cool ideas for gifts or future purchases.

Yeah at least is good to see interesting stuff!

Not so different from here stateside. Thanks for sharing :)

Then I would love it too! Need to visit.

Would get lost in there with so much to see, that fridge would not come through a standard door, it is huge!

Visiting a store like this best to leave your wallet at home, or you could find yourself bankrupt for a year @scrooger

Yeah, those fridges are huge! I normally have my wallet with me but it somehow gets hot and bothered when I am in that store. =P
