ROBINSON'S SUPERMARKET FOR MARKET FRIDAY

A month after Typoon Haiyan, locally known as Super Typhoon Yolanda, struck Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines, this is the first supermarket that opened for public. It was then that this supermarket was ranked as the top grosser of all Robinson's Supermarket all over the country.

We are thankful for this supermarket, even though we have to wait for long hours queueing in the cashier. (Cause we don't have a choice).

Anyway, so much for that, I will not go through the details of how terrible it was. Just grateful to be alive.

So here we go...

This is what you will see in the entrance. Tsaadaaaaan! All the local produce.

Pomelos and pineapples

But they also offer fruits from abroad.

And this is the first time I ever saw kiwi here in Tacloban! Oh! I was thrilled to see this!!!

They have a section for seafoods. And it's fresh too!
I love these snapper fish, locally known as Maya-Maya.

I love how they organize things here. Things are properly grouped together, so it's easier to find.

And this is one of the reasons why I frequent this place! They have all the dried mangoes in the world! Hahaha! 😂 And they also have dried guavas, and dried bananas.

To wrap it all, here's the winery...

... and their Gourmet Deli.
