Hi everyone. This is my entry in the MarketFriday, initiated by @dswigle.

Today I will talk about the Market of King Carlos Court held in Cascais, Portugal.

For some months now I have not participated in this challenge of the Market on Friday. I missed this chanllange!

Last May 26 I went to the Cascais market to do the usual shopping for the week.

A party was taking place which they called the Court Market of the time of King Carlos.

During three days several professions were recreated like at the time of the court do rei. Farmers and artisans came to Cascais to sell their homemade products such as bread, fruit, vegetables, sausages, olive oil, wine, honey, among others.

For three days the environment was re-created. From "visit" to the Market of the Court, King D. Carlos and queen D. Amélia were recreated, accompanied by the friends Count of Sabrosa and Duchess of Palmela.

The market was beautiful, full of colours and scents.

Today I will show only the part referring to fruits, vegetables and flowers.

In the next week I will talk about the other activities that were done during the event.

When you come to Cascais do not forget to visit this magnificent market full of products grown on the outskirts of Cascais.

Mercado da Corte do Rei D. Carlos realizado em Cascais, Portugal.

Olá a todos!

Já há alguns meses que não participava neste desafio do Mercado de 6º feira. Já tinha saudades!

No passado dia 26 de Maio fui ao mercado de Cascais fazer as compras habituais para a semana.

Estava a decorrer uma festa, a que chamaram o Mercado da Corte, da época do rei D. Carlos.

Durante três dias foram recriadas várias profissões como à época da corte. Os agricultores e artesãos vinham até à Vila de Cascais vender os seus produtos caseiros como pão, fruta, hortaliças, enchidos, azeite, vinho, mel, entre outros.

Durante três dias foi recriado o ambiente a época. De “visita” ao Mercado da Corte foram recriados o rei D. Carlos e a rainha D. Amélia, acompanhados pelos amigos Conde de Sabrosa e Duquesa de Palmela.

O Mercado estava lindíssimo cheio de cor e aromas.

Hoje irei mostrar, somente, a parte referente às frutas, legumes e flores.

Para a semana falarei das outras actividades que foram realizadas durante o evento.

Quando vierem a Cascais não se esqueçam de visitar este magnífico mercado cheio de produtos cultivados nos arredores de Cascais.
