Ceramics And Wood for MarketFriday
Because it's Friday, my post is going to be for #MarketFriday, the challenge hosted by @dswigle. I still have some photos from random craft markets and I'd like to show you some.
Ceramics
Ceramics can't be missing from any craft market. I'm always happy to see them even though I know the majority of the products as there are almost always the same designs.
These however are different. This is new and I love all of it. You have all kind of products here, starting from carafes to candle holders, flasks and plates. These are not the typical ceramics from Corond but I'd love to have a few. The blue, brown and white color combination is perfect.
These on the left are handmade flower pots and holders, made of clay. On the right there are carafes only for decoration purposes as I don't think those can be used for drinking. And bells. These are kind of new to me, I've not seen them till recently but love them. These products are very popular and you can find them all over Transylvania.
Made Of Wood
Keepsake boxes, hand painted, coat hangers, mirror frames, some jewelry and other small souvenirs. Those coat hangers are really beautiful.
This is the work table of the sculptor, unfortunately when I took the photo he wasn't ready to work yet or he was done for the day as his tools are packed. I've seen sculptors working at craft markets and I can assure you, it's a pleasure to watch them. I know very little about this kind of art and it's fascinating to see the raw piece of wood and then after a few hours the artwork. I really admire them.
