RE: MarketFriday - Ratchada Rot Fai Train Night Market , Bangkok !!

in #marketfriday5 years ago

You're opening shop is amazing because I'm not sure I have ever seen anything like that in my life. It looks like a patchwork quilt of a lifetime. Thank you for that view because I am sure that it is much different looking on the ground and yet it is so amazing still. And just as I thought there it is and it is more normal-looking then from above. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to view it from that height. And of course as luck would have it you went on a rainy day. Of course we all know that you are wash and wear! LOL

The train Night Market is huge and I love the different colored tents because it gives it a very entertaining and fun look. I have no trouble believing that there is everything there that you could ever think of in your lifetime. I am so glad that you took me through the seafood because you know that if it swims for a living I will eat it. That is amazing that it's all fresh and they will cook it up for you because I can see by the tables that they serve you as opposed to take it home. I think I need to go to Bangkok simply to eat because it seems to be the best reason to do that right now. Of course show me the beaches and I'll say that it's the beaches I'm sitting staring at the food, so I'll go there instead. I'm not sure what they're feeding them but I don't think I have ever seen always stirs this big and I lived in Oyster country my entire life and the prawns! Holy moly! The only problems I've ever seen this fit for in Mexico down along the Baja. Ashley speaking I think they're bigger than my lobsters. I can see all the caviar eggs that they had and I was wondering if they dye them or if that is the color of them? I just made pork ribs the other day and I have to admit that I'm looking at these going oh yes please! And you just keep on showing me more food and more food oh my God go away! I think I would be as big as a house if I lived there. And I am glad that you did not skip the stick food because who doesn't love anything on a stick? I'm surprised that the crocodile is so popular there in Thailand because for me it's a little bit on the chewy side but maybe that is the way they prepare it.

In my book bugs were always popular in Asia and in some parts of Africa. Even Denise has had a few that were crunchy. Otherwise they would have the gross Factor going for it. I'm not quite sure what to make of the Rats of boiled pork to each his own. I can say that when we serve a large amount of people Seafood, especially your on the coast we use big sheets of butcher paper on the table and poor the seafood on to it and let people serve. It makes it so much easier and it's laminated. I'm glad to see that this has spread because my parents showed me how to do it when I was a little kid and I have carried it over.

Oh you were too funny thinking you were in Shanghai. LOL I am absolutely flabbergasted at the size of this Market and the sheer amount of merchandise carried. There seems to be no end to the costumes or the jewelry and I have to admit I did love the animal cups. But the thing that really caught my eye was the Thai Silk and the different colors of the fabric. Just beautiful. And yes I'll take a dozen or so. Shoes because oh my God unless we are outfitting the nation who needs that many shoes in their Market? Wear sunglasses. I suppose it would never occur to me to have my nails done while I am at the market but what a delightful treat that would be. I will have to say that this Market is amazing and the fact that it has the light music and the beer bars and that it's at night on top of it all makes it for an adventure. I love the very end picture where you show it at night and how it's all lit up so beautiful. The only thing that I can say is that you have done such a good job showing off the customs and the different things that time and offers that I would have no way of knowing unless I was standing right beside you. So thank you very much and it is always such a pleasure to go through your posts. I appreciate all the time and effort spent putting these markets together and just know that you have made Market Friday a wonderful place to come to.

#MarketFriday loves you!
