Market Day

Hello friends, hope you doing great? This post is my submission to the #marketfriday by @dswigle. I went to the market today, it is the same market as the last but different areas today. Not a Christmas shopping though, but for the kitchen lol.

So this is how yams are arranged to be sold, in their different sizes and prizes...it makes trade easy for both the seller and the customer.

Here we have riped plantain... And the one that looks white is plantain that has been peeled and dried. As it is dried, it is then grinded into plantain flour which in turn is used in making what is popularly and generally known as swallow here.

This here is dried fish.... it gives the meal a nice taste.

Here you can find different times of other dried fish like crayfish and the rest of them.

Here we have vegetable leaf and what is called ewedu in Yoruba.....in English Jute Mallows Jute Mallows
