RE: Price Analysis, Jan.10: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, IOTA, Litecoin, NEM, Cardano

It is absolutely not our intention to mislead anybody, therefore we will start putting the disclaimer on the top of the article if this makes you happy.

Our purpose is to inform people about these articles and even try to direct them to the original site... We strongly disagree with you that there is no value in that. If you look at some other sites like @Zer0hedge you can see that there are lots of people that appreciate this. Further if you can convince them to come to Steemit that would actually be great. Untill that time we think we are providing a valuable service for next to no reward.

If you want to improve Steemit, it might be better to start addressing problems regarding "vote buying", "voting bots","misuse of SP by whales", "raping of the reward pool" and huge payouts to posts that really add no value at all. This would actually improve the value of the system. These are the main reasons new users leave in huge numbers, not creating awareness for a very informative site.

Sort:

zer0hedge is spamming with copypasta, just like you. It gets steemcleaners comment on every single post.

Well let's agree to disagree because you do not even want to discuss our difference in opinions.

Both the Steemcleaners (bot) and cheetah(bot) are a scam.

The only reason this is done is to be able to upvote (by Adm) themselves (you?), pretending to be the (self-appointed) Steemit police. This is how steemcleaner justifies to be a spambot. Further you and Steemcleaners buy votes and use votebots. It is for all to see in your wallets....

The Cheetah (bot) is even worse. Since it just gives every article an (empty) upvote. I can only imagine how they (you?) try to rape the rewardpool with this.

We would really appreciate if you, steamcleaners and your bots find somewhere else to spam.

But steemcleaners isn't a bot...

Ow and that makes it right? Must be a busy guy. But a discussion like grownups?

Just trying to correct a factual inaccuracy with your comment :)

Steemcleaners isn't a guy, or a girl, its a group of people.

So you are one of them? Still avoiding a discussion. Well great that you at least are honest about the rest.

I'm not avoiding anything, I work with steemcleaners, yes. What discussion did you want to have? I was just correcting you that steemcleaners isn't a bot and its not a scam. It does exactly what it says it does, fights plagiarism, identity theft, etc..

Well first of all that is not true it does not fight plagiarism, it selectively attacks posts/users that you determine to not agree with the values this little club has set.It lets the real plagiarism unpunished (there are literally hundreds of posts with copied content without even mentioning the source). Even you do this, although you are probably not aware of it I assume.

We on the other hand site the sources the content comes from. We clearly state that it is not ours, we just make it available on steemit. Lastly we direct/encourage people to visit the original site. I don't think we can add very much more to that . You just don't like it for some reason.

If you look up the definition it goes something like this:

"Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "stealing and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions" and the representation of them as one's own original work." You have to agree this is not what we do.

The reason I think steemcleaners and especially the bot is a scam is for the following reasons:

  • A post is spammed selectively (at least in my opinion) to certain types of content/users.
  • There always is a large upvote from user Adm to collect from the reward pool.
  • There is no interaction with the receiving user (untill now which I do apreciate), it just tries to discredit the post.
  • Steemcleaners buys votes from both upvoting bots and powerfull users to get the "report" under attention and collect the most possible reward. It likely uses even more tricks I am not even aware of yet.
  • The "report" very often gets more votes than views and very high rewards for the number of votes and views. (which indicates voting bots and buying votes).
  • The comments in the "report" are very general and at least look fake and are spam by your own definition (see the first comment in the last report).
  • Both steemcleaners and the bot violate your own rules on spamming on an epic scale every single day, which you feel is fine/justified.

My problem with it all is that you do not do as you preach and collect huge sums of rewards for putting down other people, while "gaming the system". This is a decentralized platform which is (hopefully) why most people are here.

You guys (and girls) are making rules up as you go, unelected without general consent and try to force that onto everybody else. This is called bullying in my world, not making steemit better.

I hope you actually read it and think about it. Maybe reflect it with the other people in your group? If you are truly interested in making steemit better I think you will at least see some truth in my reasoning.

So to be clear I am hoping for a logical reasoning from your side about why you think this behavior is justified. Hell if you can I might even change my mind and stop.

True it is a really simple bot without artifical intelligence too fool the steem community. Why? Because it never answers any question ;-) All it does is copypasta without reading article it puts his spam on.
