Hi Y'all, I've seen too many of my fave indie media superstars get censored on the boobtube, so I followed them here.

I am an actress & deep Southern Songstress from Austin Texas. Most recently I portrayed Prospero in an all female production of 'The Tempest' at The Rose Theatre in London. If you blinked you'll have missed me as Richard Linklater's 'Late Night Pickup' during his cult film 'Slacker'.

Currently I'm one half of Hey Jiminey on the tube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpBU7kA8TJusaETC1a8q-hA - but also I fronted Dragstripper, Temple of Sound, Anarchistwood and Country Dirt, which was once London's hottest new grabass bluegrass C&W outfit since Gary P. Nunn came to town. Equal parts Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison, I hath sung with The Frogs at ATP, as well as with Bill Callahan during Meltdown Festival. I write and play platonic lovesongs to sexworkers, country reggae odes to schizophrenic madames and protest tunes to natural disasters... a walking triumph of lost causes & no-longer living legends.
